David JR Rhodes

David Rhodes Jr. AKA “ Big Dave,” “Broman.” Was Born to his Beloved late mother and father Maebell Tanner and L.J. Rhodes on October 14,1940. David met the love of his life Mary Dean Richardson, In 1958 they married 1959. To this union they had four children. David, Always had a smile on his face he was always willing to help others any way he could. David enjoyed playing sports. Football and Baseball were his two favorite sports, he also enjoyed fishing and watching his soap operas. David worked for San Joaquin county housing authority until an injury caused him to retire early. David is proceed in death by his parents Maebell Tanner and L.J. Rhodes, his sister Jinette Tanner, and his two grandsons Ruben Scott and Donell Gray.

He leaves to cherish his memories. His wife of 60 years Mary Dean Rhodes. Three Daughters Peggy Rhodes(Phillip), Deloris Rhodes, Renee Rhodes(Daryl). One son David Rhodes Jr(Valerie). Brothers: Link Rhodes(JoAnn), Eugene Rhodes(Erma) of Fresno Ca. Willie Tanner, Robert Tanner, Ricky Tanner(Miranda) Cunnie Smith. Sisters: Flossie Daniels, Ollie Robinson, Ruthie Mae Tanner, Barbara Nel Tanner, Eliza Tanner, Lorraine Patton, Denise King. A Special Sister-In-Law Fannie Hollis. Nine Grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren and a host of many many family members and friends.
