Denise Mastin Obituary

DENISE MARIE MASTIN, born July 7, 1954 in Redwood City, California to Gladys Rose Clement Mastin and Robert Lee Mastin, died peacefully August 26, 2019 in the Golden Living Center in Stockton, California.

She attended Stockton schools, graduated from AA Stagg H.S.  and received an AA degree in Early Childhood Education from Delta Community College.  She worked for many years in helping positions, especially with the infants and young children she so loved.  She struggled with many challenges but worked hard to help others and care for those she could.  We will all miss her cheerfulness, contributions  and willing support.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys, and her beloved father, Robert, and her brother-in-law, Kent Wolcott.  She is survived by her elder sister, Diane Mastin Wolcott and her daughter, Sara Wolcott (Rev.).  Her younger sister, Christina Mastin Welch (Walter) and her daughters, Sabrina Alvarez (Eduardo) and Alicia Strauther (London) and their sons, Eben, Skyler, Desmond and Cassius (born August 26, 2019!) also survive her.

All will miss her and her thoughtfulness and concern.  There will be a Memorial Celebration for her on Tuesday September 17, 2019 at 6:00 pm in Garrigan Park in Stockton.  Please message (209) 513-2058 if you wish to attend.
