Belinda Morris Obituary

Sunrise: January 29, 1957 – Sunset: November 6, 2019

Belinda A. Morris, age 62 of San Francisco California departed her earthly home to be with the most high God and prepare a place for her family and loved ones on November 6, 2019.  Belinda was the daughter of the dearly departed Sims Morris and Margaret Mcknight.

The Heavenly Father breathed the breath of life into Belinda’s beautiful body on January 29, 1957.  She was born and raised in San Francisco California.  Belinda was the first born of 2 children and grew up in the Western Edition.  She was a constant help to her mother and sister who both had disabilities at birth.  This caretaker role, helped hone her ambition skills and talents so that she could start her own childcare service in her early teens and met her first husband while babysitting one of his nieces.  She attended and graduated from Cathedral High School in San Francisco and went on to pursue a college degree from Heald Business School in San Francisco.  She married her high school sweetheart and had one beautiful daughter named Mercedes.  Belinda’s professional life was in the business and clerical field where she held many positions, but she loved helping others and excelled in managing, supervisory and training others.  She eventually re-married and owned homes in San Francisco where she cared for her elderly grandmother, and in Vallejo.  Belinda loved to travel, and moved with her second husband to Patterson Texas to help care for her now deceased mother in law and resided there for 10 years.  She blessedly returned to her home state in 2015 and settled in Stockton California.  She looked forward to retirement, but remained active working in the clerical field and worked the voting polls during every local and national election.  She loved to help those that she could but always jumped at the chance to help any family member.  She raised her lovely niece from her only sister for her first 2 years of life and continued to help and house family as well as friends over the years. She was a joy to all who knew her and made friends wherever she went.  Her advice, that was always spot on and her loving words of strength and encouragement will be deeply missed by her only child and daughter.  Her distinctive voice, laughter, touch and kiss will forever be missed by her spouse she leaves behind.  Her giving and loving spirit will also be missed by countless family members, in-laws, friends, co-workers, neighbors and others who were blessed to be in her company.

In addition to her faithful spouse Wilson Earl Jackson, daughter, Mercedes Angeleque Norde` and dearly departed sister, Rochelle Mcknight, Belinda is survived by her niece, Tiffany Cooper, Aunt, Bonnie Cooper, Cousin, Jaqueline Blackburn, best friend, Kuiji Hill and a host of other cousins, extended family and friends.

We love you so much by every name we called you: Mommy, Belinda, BJ, Linda and Lin.  May your name forever be just as beloved and great in Heaven as it was on earth!
