Benjamin Souen So

Benjamin who was affectionately known as Benji, little man, Benasarus and big hungry. Benjamin Souen So Gaines his wings in May 8th at 8:45pm surrounded by his beloved family.

Benjamin leaves behind to mourn him Marisa Zapata who was hand picked and honored to be Benjamin’s mother and Queen his sister Benji loved his sister and enjoyed spending time with her, his father Samnang So and wife as well as Benjamin’s other siblings  Gage, Brandon, Violet And Goku. Benjamin had a special bond with his Godmother/Tia Tattiana Zapata and his Godfather/Uncle Zachary Zapata. he also leaves behind his Great Grandparents, Grandparents and a host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Benjamin was 8 years old he was in the second grade and attended Bush elementary school.  Benjamin was a vibrant outgoing young boy who enjoyed playing with dinosaurs and digging for fossils.  He was loved by everyone he ever  came in contact with.

Benjamin was heaven sent and although we only had him for a short time he has impacted everyone he knew. We are grateful for time spent with this Angel on earth as he was sent to us to teach us a lesson of what agape love is all about, loving without judgement, loving blindly,and loving boldly. And each of these things Benjamin did naturally.

Knowing Benjamin was an adventure his presence  was always made known as he greeted everyone with his smile, laughter and hugs. His personality was bigger then life, he was known for making people laugh with a song, dance or his sweet stories. He would always say “ I need to talk to you” wether he was talking about his day, asking about your day, wanting to play fortnight or simply talking about his favorite dinosaur it was a joy to spend time with Benjamin! As we all watched over Benjamin for his time on earth he is now watching over each of us. Although this is a great time of sorrow we can rejoice in knowing his soul is free,heaven is where he came from and heaven is where he has returned.

We will always love, miss and cherish the time we shared together. You will live on in our hearts forever, soar with the Angels we love you Benasarus.
