Deborah Louise Anderson (Revels)

Deborah Louise Anderson (Revels), age 71, of Sacramento, passed away on February 17, 2026.

She was born to Stanford C. Stephens Jr. and Dolores Del Rio Revels, lovingly known as “Bebe.” Deborah was the only daughter and the middle child among six siblings, growing up alongside her brothers: Ronnie Lee Hodges (deceased), Larry Poston (deceased), Michael Wayne Gorden(deceased)., Danny R. Baxter, and David Lee Hodges (deceased). Being the only girl in a house full of boys shaped her strength, independence, and fearless spirit — traits she carried her entire life.

A woman who never backed down, Deborah was defined by determination, faith, and a love for life. She loved God deeply, cherished her family, and lived on her own terms. She earned her Class A license and drove for United Parcel Service (UPS), breaking barriers in a male-dominated field.

Deborah later worked as a bartender and also served as a bouncer at a local bar. With unmatched energy and presence, she didn’t just stand behind the bar — she commanded the room. Whether managing the floor, keeping the peace at the door, or riding her motorcycle, she approached life with courage, hands-on leadership, and unapologetic confidence.

Her greatest pride was her family. She loved cooking, traveling, and bringing everyone together with warmth, laughter, and her signature bold spirit. As a foster parent, she opened her home and heart to children in need, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, James Talton “Dodie.”

Deborah is survived by her sons: Weldon James Anderson Sr. (50) and his wife Jennifer; Daniel Jacob Blue-Anderson “Blue” (47) and his wife Nancy; and Paul James Anderson “Cheeks” (44).

She leaves behind eleven cherished grandchildren: Kaila Dolaris Juergens (31), Johnathan James Anderson-Yadao (29), Renée Louise Anderson-Yadao (27), Katelynn Alysa Hubbell (25), Jasmin Yadao (25), Jay-Paul Marquise Anderson (24), Weldon James Anderson (17), Brooklynn Semaj Anderson (17), Mahonrye Glenn Carver Anderson (12), Kayelissa Beverly Anderson (7), and Sebastián Blue-Anderson (4); and one great-granddaughter, Leilani Yadao-Anderson (3).
