HAROLD LYNN EARNEST, SR.
BORN JANUARY 27, 1955 DEPARTED MARCH 15, 2026

Harold Lynn Earnest, Sr. Was born in Jackson, Mississippi to JC and Lula Mae Earnest
in 1955. Harold along with his mother and 7 siblings came to California in 1956 after
their father had found a better life and job for his family and sent for them to move to
California.
Harold passed away unexpectedly om March 15, 2026. During his lifetime, Harold
faced many struggles and hurdles, but he overcame many of those hurdles and rebuilt
his life with courage and determination. His journey was not easy but he got through it
and proved to us and himself that if he can overcome struggles anyone can.
Harold is survived by his long time partner Shawnee Norwood, his children Harold Lynn
Earnest, Jr. of Boise Idaho, Andre and , Lyntai Earnest, Decora and LaJaune McElroy
all of Stockton. He is also survived by his siblings, Barbara, Willie, Lillie, Larry and his
twin Carolyn Hopkins and a host of nieces and nephews. Harold also leaves behind 18
grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Harold is preceded in death by parents J C and Lula Mae Earnest, brothers Joe,
James, Sr., Sammie, Waddie, Sr. and George.
Though we will miss him, we know that he is sleeping in peace and all his suffering is no
longer. He will forever be in our hearts.
