Izmael Elias de La Rosa Obituary
Izmael "Izzie" De La Rosa June 12, 1997 – May 1, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Izmael "Izzie" De La Rosa, beloved son, brother, partner, and devoted father.
Born in French Camp, CA, Izzie grew up surrounded by the love of his four older sisters and spent his life collecting people who meant the world to him — his nephews and nieces, his brothers-in-spirit Angel and Juan Carlos, and the family he reconnected with on his father's side.
He was athletic and adventurous, a proud Oakland Raiders fan, and someone who could walk into any room and leave everyone smiling. His greatest joy, however, was the family he built with the love of his life, Juliana (Julie), and their cherished daughter, Elena. He worked hard to give them a home and a life full of love, and he was endlessly proud of everything they built together.
Izzie was a devoted father, a loyal friend, a maker of legendary ceviche, and a kid at heart until the very end. Though he carried quiet struggles, he never stopped showing up for the people he loved.
He is deeply missed and will never be forgotten. His memory lives on in the laughter he sparked, the love he gave, and the lives he touched.
