Obituary for Keith Binder Sr.

Keith Binder. was born September 29, 1965 in Stockton, California to Dorothy Castleberry and James Binder Sr.  Keith was raised and resided in Stockton, Ca until his passing.  Keith attended Taylor Elementary School, Marshall Jr. High, and Edison Senior High.  

After graduating High School in 1983, Keith worked several different jobs; working both at K-Mart and Marshalls as a young man. He then found his calling as a Barber. He made a name for himself by doing haircuts out of his home. Keith then went to Barber College. 

Upon finishing courses at Stockton Barber College, Keith worked in several different Barber shops around Stockton, Ca including Dudes & Divas Salon, until he decided to open his own shop named Binder Barbersop. This was his dream. Keith operated out of several locations and ran his business for over 14 years.  During that time Keith gave many young barbers the chance to hone their skills in his shop as well as worked with a lot of different youth organizations to provide haircuts.

Keith had his first child at the age of 23, and eventually went on to father 5 children, as well as having a hand in raising others. Keith loved all of his children and grandchildren, who were often around him.

On May 22, 2019, he went home to be with our Father in heaven.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Gates and James Binder Sr., his sister Edna Redda Castleberry, and his brother Nathaniel Binder. He leaves to celebrate his home going, children: Crystal (Aaron) Harris, Tamika Binder, Ashley Binder, Keith Binder Jr., and Michael Binder.  Step Children: Lanee White, TreVeonn White Sr., and Shapreea White. Grandchildren: Earnest Roberson Jr., Tahj Moore, Kayden Roberson, Nilayiah Binder, Eniyah Roy, Cailee Garmany, Ania Harris, Aaliyah Harris, Robin G. Thornton, Isaiah Thronton, Xavius Mountain, TreVeonn White Jr, Shaheed White, Leia Akeman, and Aaliyah White. God Son- Tyrone Deloney Jr. Hononary Sons- Robin Thornton Jr., and Gilbert Gaines II.  Sister Yvonne (Calvin) Kennon.  Brothers: Michael (Cynthia) Callegri, Carl Callegari, Jerome (Debowrah) Binder, Tyrone (Angela) Binder Sr., James (Eva) Binder Sr., Anthony (Natalon) Binder, Stanley (Laprice) Grigsby, and Tyrone (Beth) DeLoney Sr. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
