Martha Ann Shanks

On Wednesday November 25, 2020, Martha Ann Shanks Our Loving devoted Mother, Grandmother, Friend Sister, Aunt, and Cousin made her peace on earth and entered into Gods kingdom. Martha Ann was born in Beggs Oklahoma on September 9, 1948 to the late Ledell Seymore and Johnnie Gaines. Martha Ann was proceeded in death by her brother Lydell Seymore and five aunts, Katherine Holmes, Geletha Gaines, Essie Harrison, Louise Nutt, and Annie Shelton. She will forever be remembered by her daughter Lawanda Adkins (Herman) and her three sons, Warren Adkins, Ralph Shelton, and Jon Rankins(Rhiannon) Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Cousins and friends. Martha Ann was always a thinker she had a good reasoning mind, she loved her family and would do anything to make sure everyone was taken care of. She had a stern personality but was very free hearted, she could listen to you and wasn't afraid to speak the truth to you. We think about you always you will never be forgotten. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain to walk and guide us through our lives until we meet again. Rest In Peace
