Patrick Farrell passed away, at age 72, after asking his infamous question, “How
do I look” just moments earlier. Self-proclaimed traveling man and one-of-a-kind
loving father took his last breath December 29 th of 2020 at St. Joseph’s hospital in Stockton.
Anyone else battling stage 4 oral/throat cancer would have gone quietly into the
night, but Patrick fought and made a fuss until he no longer could. Expressing his
feeling the night he passed of needing “cash” to bring with him to the hospice
home so he could make purchases. His jokes and free spiritedness never left him.
The way he died is just like he lived: he wrote his own rules, he fought authority
and he paved his own way. He didn’t slow down despite many reasons to do-so,
this was just who Patrick was.
Patrick is survived by his children, Samantha Farrell of Tennessee, Jessica Farrell
of Stockton, Joseph Farrell of Texas, Zachary Farrell of Modesto, Sean Farrell of
Oregon and his granddaughter Mariella of Oregon. Also survived by his sister
Christina Mauldin of Santa Cruz and his niece Jenny Mauldin-Turner.
