Richard Nicolas Prieto Jr., known to all as "Nico" was born on June 4, 1975 at Dameron hospital in Stockton California. He passed away at the age of 44 on January 27, 2020 in Susanville, California.
Nico was known to all as a talented martial artist who was extremely competitive. He played football in high school, worked out daily and always pushed himself beyond his athletic capabilities. Nico was not only talented athletically, but he was extremely intelligent and excelled in his studies. Nico loved attention, telling stories and showing off his martial artist skills. Nico had the biggest heart and was loyal to a fault.
He is survived by his mother Rebecca Jimenez, sister Danica Bravo, brothers Danny Bravo, Mario Prieto, Raymond Prieto, Rick Prieto and Adam Prieto, children Richard Prieto III, Regino Prieto, Michael Prieto, Rodrico Prieto, and grandparents Pete and Jessie Jimenez. Nico will forever be remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and godparents.
He was welcomed home by his fathers Richard Prieto Sr., and Danny Bravo, his uncle Anthony Jimenez, and his grandmother Maria Luz Ramirez.
There will be a celebration of life for Nico on February 5, 2020 at the Brookside Clubhouse, 3536 Brookview Dr. Stockton, CA 95219, following the funeral.

Micah 7:8-10
Do not gloat over me, my enemies!
For though I fall, I will rise again.
Though I sit in darkness,
the Lord will be my light.
I will be patient as the Lord punishes me,
for I have sinned against him.
But after that, he will take up my case
and give me justice for all I have suffered from my enemies.
The Lord will bring me into the light, and I will see his righteousness.
Then my enemies will see that the Lord is on my side. They will be ashamed that they taunted me, saying,
“So where is the Lord— that God of yours?”
With my own eyes I will see their downfall;
they will be trampled like mud in the streets.
