Su Tuan Tran Obituary

In Loving Memory of Mr. Su Tuan Tran

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad/grandpa Mr. Su Tuan Tran, who peacefully left us on March 10, 2025, at 4:30 PM. Born on October 1, 1936, in Thai Binh province, North Vietnam.

Mr. Tran led a life marked by resilience, dedication to his faith, and love for his family.

In 1954, following the wave of refugees fleeing the upheaval in Vietnam, Mr. Tran made his way to South Vietnam, where he would begin a new chapter of his life. In 1965, he joined the South Vietnam military academy, where he trained and became a respected captain. His service to his country was a testament to his character, and he proudly carried his duty with honor and commitment.

In 1990, Mr. Tran, along with his family, immigrated to the United States, finding a new home in San Jose, California. They temporarily moved to Des Moines, Iowa in 1995 and eventually back to Stockton, California where he lived til the end of his days.

Throughout his life, Mr. Tran was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his family was unwavering, and his legacy will live on through them. He is survived by his loving wife, 8 children, and 19 grandchildren, who will forever cherish his memory and the lessons he imparted.

Mr. Su Tuan Tran’s life was a reflection of strength, perseverance, and the importance of prayers. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

May he rest in peace.
