I would like to thank Jose and his family at Stockton Funeral Home for all of their help with my husbands services. We were in the middle of the pandemic when my husband passed away in Dec. 2020. Jose was recommended to us by Martha from the SJ Cemetery. When we arrived to talk about the options we had for his services Jose greeted us and treated us like family. He eased our minds and helped us out. While other funeral homes either turned us away, gave us dates 1 to 2 months out or limited the services to the parking lot with only 10 people, Jose allowed us to use the chapel with full services. Our family 100% recommends his services.

I have to start off with giving Stockton Funeral Home a 10 plus plus. Jose and Family took great care of my family in our moment of grief. I called several funeral homes and was all placed on hold and told someone would call me back. When I called SFH at 6am in the morning and Jose answered as if he was waiting on my call. I asked him all kind of questions and he answered and not one time did he tell me that he need to get back to me. He gave me a quote and I called him about 3-4 more times and he was still polite and helpful. When me and my sister in law went in and meet him he was the same polite and honest. The quote that he gave us over the phone didn't change. We were concerned about how my nephew would look. He assured us that he would look like hisself and he did. His son did a awesome job on my nephew. If any of you are looking for someone that will treat you like family call Jose at Stockton Funeral Home. Thank you Jose and Family for making us feel like family in our time of grief.

I want to thank Jose and staff taking time with me and family during our grieving time. Jose took all phone calls answer every question he assured me my son would look like himself which he did. He gave us the figures on the funeral didn't change once we arrived like most funeral homes do take advantage of grieving families. I would recommend him and staff over and over again. Jose and his family helped us out tremendously during our difficult time. We asked Jose for a dozen special requests and he carried them out with better than expected results. In addition, we had an issue with recording our son’s video and Jose generously spent his own time trying to find a solution for it. If you are ever looking for a funeral service with compassionate personnel, delivers on what you ask, provides sound advice and expertise, reasonable priced, then I strongly recommend Jose.

I want to thank Jose Ayala for all the help he gave us. He did my mom's services as we asked. Very attentive he and all his family very friendly. He did the possible to send my Mom to Mexico as soon as possible and I am very grateful to them because my mother went and arrived to Mexico as he promised. And I have no way of thanking you for all your help and for letting me see her a moment before She was sent to Mexico. Words cannot describe how grateful I am. When my son passed away in Jan of this year, I was dumbfounded. My children and I went to Chapel of the Palms and they turned us away Stating they were short staffed and maybe someone else could see us and stated this “Well there is a new funeral home in Stkn and they are hispanic maybe they could help you” well I was appalled and furious at the same time. But you know I thank GOD that man said that to us cause I would have never meet such wonderful people like JOSE AYALA AND HIS FAMILY AND WORK FAMILY! I tell you my Son was attended to with must respect ever! I thank the AYALA FAMILY a million times for all there attention they gave us!
I tell you what I will never go any where else!! This statement was long overdue, but my heart was healing and it still is but Iam better now!

I am beyond grateful for the service we received. I never planned a funeral and during such a difficult time of sadness it could be very overwhelming. From the initial phone call, Jose was straight forward, kind, and understanding. I appreciate all that he did to keep me informed along the way. I communicated with him mostly with calls and texts. He was always very prompt and answered all my questions. Thank you for the support and for caring so much of our loved one. I will always be thankful for the support we received in such a hard time. Jason was also so amazing, thank you thank you for taking care of our angel.

I thank God for directing me to this funeral home. I live in Southern California and not being able to make arrangements for my cousin in person was going to be difficult. My family chose this place for my nephews funeral because the owner Jose, his son and his wife are good people and very accommodating. He didn’t nickel and dime us and he went the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed throughout the 2 days we were there. He thought of everything and all the little details are what made the difference such as the obituary on his website, folders to pass out during the service, live video for family and friends to be able to watch the service who couldn’t be there. We felt at home there my nephew would have loved it there it was so intimate but also open with all the different rooms the family was able to use. Thank you to Jose and his family for welcoming our family and making our first funeral experience as good as it could have gone. I highly recommend this place for any family who are in need of services.

Can’t say it enough how thankful I am for my friends and family that came through. We felt the love and sincerity of every one. We can’t express how blessed and grateful we are. God bless everyone and the Jose Ayala for the amazing services they provided us. This week was difficult but they made us feel like family. The spiritual Native American Service gave us comfort and the healing we needed to close the services last night. I still feel at peace. Amazing can’t say enough about the service. I just wanted to take this time out to personally thank Stockton Funeral Home for providing my family and I with excellent service. During our time of sorrow, Jose and his wife have been nothing but helpful and empathetic. NO OTHER funeral home I have experienced has EVER been as friendly and outgoing as Stockton Funeral Home. While making arrangements for my Father’s services, Jose checked in with me to make sure everything was ok before he made any decisions on his own. He made us feel as if we mattered and this is NOT just a business for him. As much as losing a loved one hurts, the reality is you will find yourself searching for help with services and arrangements. No one wants to go through this experience. I sure wasn’t ready for this nor did I know anything about having to bury someone. José and his staff at Stockton Funeral Services, completely blew me away with their attention, empathy, and service. Since my cousin Hugo’s passing, they were extremely helpful and it immediately felt like they were part of the family. They were so understanding and so accommodating beyond belief. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone needing the best funeral service around. I was going to be going back to San Diego the day of the viewing and wasn’t going to be able to see him one last time, yet Jose permitted me, along with his mother and sister to come the day before. We choose Stockton Funeral Home to ship my Dad back to Mexico, After one other place told us it will take about 7-10 business days, we wanted my dad home right away we were refereed to Jose with valley & Stockton Funeral Home, we explained to Jose the Urgency we had to get my dad home and he assured us that he will be home in two days, my family and i was shocked, we trusted him and his staff that they knew what they were doing, my dad was picked up one night Thursday night and Saturday afternoon he was already in Mexico.
